Carlos Guzman 

Carlos Guzman, age 63 died unexpectedly on September 9, 2024 in Fresno, CA. 

He was born on September 19, 1960 in Merced, CA , the son of Margarito and Frances Guzman. Carlos was the fourth of ten children. He was a loyal, loving and caring son to his parents and a loving brother who was a constant source of support to his siblings, nieces and nephews. 

Carlos graduated from San Joaquin Memorial High School, Fresno, CA. Carlos was drawn to healthcare and caring for others. He attended and graduated from UC-Davis as a Physician Assistant. He practiced in the rural communities of Sanger and Fowler providing care to his patients with the utmost devotion to their well-being. 

Carlos is predeceased by his father, Margarito Guzman and his niece, Alexandra Guerraz. He is survived by his partner of twenty-eight years, Dean Selders. He is also survived by his mother, Frances Guzman, and his siblings, Margie Kertzman and her husband, Charles, Theresa Salas, David Guzman and his wife, Lauri, Anthony Guzman, and his wife Bridgett, Eddie Guzman and his wife, Lisa, Monica Cope and her husband Martin, Michael Guzman, Vincent Guzman and his wife Rachelle and Cathy Guerraz and her husband, Jason. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, September 25 at 6:00 PM at the Thomas-Marcom Funeral Home in Selma, CA. 

A Mass will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Selma, CA.
