Dennis Michael Malsbury

Dennis was born on March 31, 1971, in Daly City, California, to Calvin & Joyce Malsbury and passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 in Hanford, California. Dennis attended Kratt elementary, Tenaya middle school and Bullard High School, where Dennis was an avid baseball player. Dennis went on to work at Bullard high school after graduation as a on campus security guard before he went into the police academy at Fresno City College. After his graduation from the police academy, Dennis worked at various bars and restaurants until he was hired on by Madera County Sheriff's Department & Department of Corrections in 1999. Dennis worked for Madera County until he experienced health issues, he was fully medically retired out in January 2021.

In February 2002, Dennis' only son and the light of his life, Mason was born. Dennis was very active when Maison was growing up from being a troop leader in boy scouts to helping coach his soccer team.

Dennis was preceded in death by his mom Joyce Malsbury, his sister Carolyn Foust, Grandmother & Grandfather Cavataio and Grandfather & Grandmother Malsbury. He is survived by his son Maison Malsbury, of Fresno, his father Calvin (Theresa) Malsbury, of Orosi, his sister Colette (Brian) Rutishauser, of Fresno, stepsister Shannon Cody, of Visalia, stepsister Anastacia Hamilton, of Visalia, stepsister Dominque Hamilton, of Visalia and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Thomas-Marcom Funeral Home, 2345 McCall Ave in Selma, California on Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, followed by a graveside service at St. Peters Cemetery, 264 N. Blythe Ave, in Fresno, California from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. A gathering will take place immediately after the graveside service at 6574 E. Castle Ave, Fresno, California 93727. Appetizers and refreshments will be served.
