Emily Espinosa Franco

Emily was born on August 8, 1933, in Pico Rivera, CA. She completed her life's journey May 5, 2022, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family at her side. Emily worked for Washington Jr High School as a noon aide for 20 years everyone called her grandma, she then moved on to work for Father Hannibal for 2 years, mama loved dancing, family gatherings, listening to music, sitting outside watching people pass by and wave. She was a loving caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She’ll be missed by so many. 

Emily is preceded in death by her husband Eddie Franco. 

Emily is survived by her daughters, Eva Gamez, Liz Hurtado, Elaine Franco, two granddaughters she raised Cynthia Gonzales and Ellie Franco: and great grandson Jadon Reyna. Brother Ralph Rodriguez and sister Mary Ornelas. Along with 8 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, numerous loving nieces, nephews, and God children. 

The family of Emily E Franco wishes to express their appreciation for your thoughtfulness and for your attendance at her services.  

The daughters wish to express a special thanks to family and friends for all the love and support through her most trying times. 

Immediately following the graveside service family and friends are invited to a reception at her house.
