George Luis Villarreal

November 23, 1961 — February 7, 2022

George migrated with his mom Simona at the age of 4 to Parlier, California from Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He attended elementary schools in Selma, soon transferring to McLane High School where he established a wrestling career. Following his high school education, George completed his AA through Fresno City College. As some of you may know, George was diagnosed with Epilepsy in his early childhood years, however it did not prevent him from attempting to complete daily activities as best as he could. George loved sports, especially bowling as his favorite, where he joined a local social bowling league and became an exceptionally successful bowler receiving awards, trophies, and attending state level tournaments throughout his lifetime. George had much love for bicycling as well to where you could always find him enjoying himself riding around town, or in some cases even long distances. Being outdoors engaging in camping, fishing, and hiking was what George looked most forward to with his lifelong friend, Eddie Sanchez. Sundays were an obvious favorite day for George as he got to root on for the Raiders, yet he enjoyed watching every game of the season as he could while sporting his most prized Raiders jacket. George is preceded in death by his parents. George is survived by his two sisters, brother-in-law, and three nieces. He will always be remembered for his level of perseverance, stubbornness, laughter, his way or no way attitude, caringness of his birds, and love for the Raiders and his Mountain Dew. On behalf of George’s family, we hold great appreciation and love to Eddie and his family for being not only being his Catalyst but earning the title of being his brother where they shared much joy together daily. An extended thank you to the Adjoin Program and C.V.R.C. for continuously supporting George in reaching his potential to live as independently and as content as he possibly could.
