Robert Estrada

Jesse "ROBERT" Estrada, born April 30, 1955 in Harlingen, Texas went Home to our Lord, Father God on January 16, 2025, with his wife by his side as he took his last breath. He is preceded in death by his parents Regino and Seferina Camarillo Estrada. Robert is survived by his wife & life-long partner of 40 years, Sylvia (Rodriguez) Estrada, his 4 children, sons Jesse and George, and daughters Sarah and Katrina, and 15 beautiful grandchildren. Robert is also survived by his brothers John, Joe, Mario & Ruben and his sisters, Yolanda & Aurora. 

Robert grew up in Orange Cove, CA. When he was not in school, he would work in the fields alongside his dad, all the while pursuing his passion for long distance running. He graduated from Reedley High School and received a scholarship to Fresno Pacific University for his running talents. Over the years Robert would continue in the running circuit, running 5k, 10k, marathon & half marathon races, and winning many awards. He never lost his passion for running. In 1986 he married his life-long partner Sylvia Rodriguez. For short periods of time they lived in Selma, CA, and Fowler, CA, and finally in 1990 they settled down making Fresno, CA. their permanent home. In 1997 they adopted 4 beautiful children and would later be blessed with 15 beautiful grandchildren. Robert's children & grandchildren were his Pride & Joy!! Robert worked at various places throughout the years, the longest being at Del Monte Foods in Kingsbury, CA. In 1995 Robert and his wife began their own fence contracting business "Gate & Fence Repair". Robert was a hard working perfectionist and took pride in his work. For this reason he was able to operate a successful business for almost 30 years, making many lifelong friends along the way. Robert will be dearly missed but never forgotten!!
