Julio was the firstborn of his parents Julio and Clara Alonso. He loved his mom and dad very much, no words can describe what he would do for them . He was one of kind son and that’s why his parents loved him until the end. He loved his sisters and brother through the good times and the bad. No matter what he was always proud to be their oldest brother. Julio truly knew that it was more blessed to give than to receive. His generosity toward them knew no bounds. All his nieces and nephews will never forget all the good he did to them whenever he had the opportunity to be a blessing to them.
He was born in Mexico and soon migrated to the city of Kingsburg in 1971. He also migrated to the city of Selma and then settled in the city of Parlier with his parents and siblings. Where he attended elementary and high school. Growing up he enjoyed playing sports. He played football, and baseball, and was a wrestler. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Julio got married to his lifelong partner Maria Guadalupe Chagoya in 1993.They made Parlier their home where they raised their two sons. He knew life was not perfect but all he needed was his wife, two kids, and grandchildren to give him strength to wake up everyday and provide. It wasn’t about how much money he had, it was about showing his family the true meaning of being a husband, father, and grandfather. His love was unconditional, and he showed that everyday to his family.
Julio loved to BBQ for his family, spend time gardening, but he loved watching his boys play baseball the most. His sons were his pride and joy.
He was a huge sports fan of the Lakers, Dodgers, and the team he loved the most, the Rams. Every Sunday he would BBQ, kick back, and watch his Rams.
